If your motorcycle dies on you like in the above situation the first thing you should do is flip it to the Reserve position and see if that fixes things, which it will if its a fuel problem. In the mean time, I was on another forum website and read the "PRI" on the petcock is for "prime" (?) I dont know what the positions are for your petcock, but an easy way to find off is to unplug hoses from the petcock and move the knob until gas stops flowing
